Philly Digs Hail Social EP in stores
June 3rdPhilly is killing it on the music scene right now. For another release of straight bangers Flamin Hotz Records went into our backyard and linked up with some of the most up and coming dj and remixers building steam in the city and asked them to reinterpret one of our favorite Philly bands Hail Social. Phirst up was Designer Drugs a DJ/production crew who have been staples on the scene throwing down a synth heavy electro big room house floor burner on Heaven. Then the Crimp Yr Hair DJ's and Mike Robinson follow up with All Night throwing a nice house twist for all the ladies making them listen to the radio all night. Kilroy rounds out the A side of the record with a One You Love remix that will make you hold your girl tight. Flipping the record over to the B side we got the one and only Benny Brows bringing that hard and funky rock edge to All Night turning it into a hand clapping floor burner. Turbostation brings that nurave sound to the label with their mix of Cherry Cola Funk that you can hear at the end of their parties and watch the kid's faces melt. To end the whole thing Squid from Plastic Little throws down a totally new twist on the The Fall taking it to this universe and beyond. We got local legend Thom Lessner of Space 1026 fame to do the artwork and then pressed this to purple vinyl for all the fans.
