Philly Get Ready Baby

Give me a bottle and motherfucking cup, So me and boys can get, What!!! Fucked Up!!!! Yeah Understand…. Shit is about to go down Philly. Stand the Fuck up. These are your home town heroes the dudes tearing down the Red Warehouse, going later then 2:00 and still giving you what you want. The bols Emynd and Bo Bliz are doing it non stop this year with a big first quarter showing. Pushing Cross Faded Bacon and White Tees White Belts to the limit with a new mix CD dropping for WTHN, new mix dropping on the 51:51 podcast, new record full of banging club hits on Flamin Hotz, new Wire inspired t shirts and still holding down the best party in Philly since 2005. I am so happy to be involved with these dudes and just to support the shit out of some local talent. Even before we sent the promos out on this release we had Scottie B knocking on our door asking for the release so he could drop the hits tonight at Fabric.

Peace to all my dudes in the UK who are gonna see Scottie B, but when he drops those tracks yinz are just getting a taste of that really real shit that is Emynd and Bo. Along with Dan the Swede they are about to destroy this months White Tees and White Belts. The party jumps at 11:00 pm so be there for the free mix tapes and shirt give a ways. As always this party is BYOB with a free mixer bar and goes late. Special late night DJ set by none other then Brendan Bringem who is going to bring that late night heat to this spot. I can not wait to Dip Dip and Fall back son. Look at the pics from last month from the dude Drink Moloko and get ready for another whole night of mayhem.

BOOYA!!!!

tweeter3.jpgWell 2006 has been a really good year for us. Basically we got our feet on the ground and now we are running and doing the damn vinyl thang. We are gearing up for another release so things are hectic around the office but our current release with the Trouble and Bass crew is blowing up. We got written up in a couple of magazines recently and we will post those up in a little bit. But we gotta hunker down and make some deadlines in the next week to keep your parties laced with the hottest shit. So right at the end of the year our boy DTL of Trouble and Bass laced us with this mix and its hot shit. Lots of reedits, og tracks, and other Trouble and Bass gems. Take a minute to listen and then go cop the Bass Bandits EP. Look guys its number 4 on the vinyl charts at TTL and we need to push it to number one just like the Curtis Vodka record. Also if your local independent record store wants to carry Flamin Hotz Records please feel free to take the time to email me and we can get this on and poppin. Otherwise we got this shit on lock in 2007 and beyond.

Get It In With Flamin Hotz

Get in with Flamin Hotz, Trouble & Bass and Seclusiasis

Bass Bass Bass (airhorn) in your face, make your ass shake. Get ready as Drop The Lime and Mathhead are invading the Tritone this Saturday 12/09 on the heels of their huge “Trouble and Bass” monthly party last week to promote the new release on Flamin Hotz Records, and really just to get crazy in another city for a night. Go over here to look at the pictures and read about the music (the comments are out of control on this site) and then go look at how sweaty this dude got.
I mean this is what I totally look to do every weekend when there are just top notch DJ’s in town. Pre-party the shit out of some Sparks and Red Bull and Vodkas, go to a free party where they encourage people to get crazy, then proceed to go crazy and at 2 in the morning when every one has had enough of me I start screaming at them (which is why I haven’t had a date in two years I think, I should really deconstruct this shit) and go to Mansion. Then while I am there all I do is talk shit to dudes who like “Frat House” and just remember how dope the party was twenty minutes ago and how much cheaper the drinks were. Then I leave telling them that I will never come back since I had to pay the ten dollar cover for forty five minutes and usually see people I know and start telling them how much I like Juke and how Juke really needs to get played in Philly.

So yeah then I walk home and usually wake up at 12:00 and walk down to Café Lift for an impromptu brunch and talk to Tina about her house in Fish Town and then talk to Jenny about her new modern dance that I missed again. Then on the walk home I throw up and get ready to do it all over again, or go to work. Which ever I feel like doing. So come and Get In with Dev 79, Stumbol, Drop The Lime, Mathhead with special walk through appearance by Casi G and 5151. Oh yeah this party is at TriTone which is on 15th and South or something like that. Its right by the Jamaican Jerk Hut from that movie with Cameron Diaz where she sleeps with old men or like sponge baths them. I wonder if that was the inspiration for “My Love”. Which I guarantee will be played several times along with the new “Bass Bandits” EP and I think I would throw some of these in the crowd at the end of the night.

Jam Master Jackmaster

jackmaster.gif

Jackmaster hails from sunny Glasgow, Scotland where he’s one of the hardest working DJ’s and promoter’s at clubs such as Numbers, Seismic and Monox. He co runs two Electro labels Point. One Recorordings (www.pointonerecordings.com) and WireBlock (due to launch early ’07) and cuts up styles ranging from RnB, Hip Hop and Electro right through to Baile, Bmore, Booty and Techno. With an ear to the street it is hard to get a song by Jackmaster that he hasn’t allready spun out or cueing up next. With his label at the forefront of the UK electro scene and his constant grind to get the hottest tracks from the underground its no wonder that we wanted dude to cut a mix for our site so you could bug out all weekend. When Jackmaster is not blasting speakers and making the ladies swoon at night he also works full time for Rubadub / Blackhole Distribution – one of the UKs leading distributors of underground heat with an emphaisis on records that don’t have bar codes. This dude came to us when we were still selling units out the trunk and gave us our first international order. Download this mix, done with all vinyl so if you hear something you like you can email him and he can tell you were to buy it, throw it on before you go out to the club tonight and then when the after party comes back to your pad thorw this mix on again. Then Saturday morning you can send a thank you email to Jack and post a comment on here about how Flamin Hotz got you laid. Please add Jackmaster on myspace here…. www.myspace.com/iamjackmaster
